A plastic surgery consultation is a great opportunity for you to meet with a plastic surgeon to receive an evaluation, discuss your goals and concerns, ask any questions you may have about your desired procedure, and determine a surgical plan that is tailored to your goals.

A consultation is a great way for you to personally meet the plastic surgeon you’re interested in to ensure that they are a great fit for you. Remember, your relationship with your plastic surgeon is the foundation of your aesthetic journey and we always recommend that you go with your gut. If you don’t feel comfortable or connected to the plastic surgeon during your consultation, they are not the right fit for you and it’s wise to meet with a new plastic surgeon who you feel safe and confident with.  

What happens during a plastic surgery consultation?

• Discuss the risks and benefits of your desired procedure

What happens after a plastic surgery consultation?

After your consultation, your Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for providing you with an itemized quote of the agreed upon surgical plan as well as informing you of the financing or layaway options available to you. At our office, our quotes are valid for 30 days but this can vary based on the practice you visit. 

Which plastic surgeon should I choose? 

This is a deeply personal decision that each patient has to ultimately make for themselves. We highly recommend researching the plastic surgeon of your interest by learning about their credentials, reviewing their before and afters, and reading through many of their online reviews to have a well rounded understanding of them. 

At our practice, we have provided mini virtual introductions to each of our surgeons who were asked, “What are your doctor/patient relationships like?” so you can get a sense of their approach and personality.
